Controller

Journey. One is operated by Mareke Solutions s.r.o. The controller contact for privacy requests is support@journey.one.

What We Process

Journey. One processes account and access data, CV-derived matching data, dashboard job records, user decisions such as Applied and Not Interested, technical logs, and support messages you send to us.

CV Data Minimisation

By default, Journey. One reads an uploaded CV only to derive search and matching signals such as roles, skills, domains, keywords, and search phrases. The full CV file and full extracted CV text are not stored in cloud storage by default. Full CV storage should only be enabled where the user has clearly opted in.

Purposes And Legal Bases

We process data to provide the dashboard and matching service, protect access, remember your job decisions, maintain service security, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. The legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where optional processing is enabled, and compliance with legal obligations.

Data Sharing

We use service providers for hosting, database, authentication, storage, email, monitoring, and similar operational needs. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to Journey.One. We do not sell user CV data.

International Transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards should be used, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent protections offered by the provider.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the service, security, support, or legal requirements. Dashboard records and derived CV profiles should be deleted when no longer needed or when you request deletion, unless we must retain limited data for legal reasons.

Your Rights

Depending on your location and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, receive a copy of your data, and withdraw consent. You can export or delete dashboard data inside the app, or contact support@journey.one.

Automated Matching

Journey. One uses CV-derived matching signals to rank and filter opportunities. This helps organise the dashboard, but users remain responsible for reviewing each opportunity and deciding whether to apply. Journey. One does not make hiring, employment, credit, or similarly significant legal decisions about users.

Complaints

If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you may contact us first at support@journey.one. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local EU data protection authority.

Security

Journey. One is designed to minimise CV data retention, restrict dashboard access, and avoid logging full CV text, access codes, credentials, or source credentials. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to keep data protected and limited.
